By registering on Your Say Moreton Bay you have a direct line to the Commission to make sure that your views on issues and matters are heard.

Here are five (5) reasons why we ask you to register.

  1. Our challenge is to understand the range of perspectives in our diverse community of stakeholders. By registering and telling us a bit about yourself you help us understand our stakeholders better.
  2. Registering on Your Say Moreton Bay is quick and simple with a few important questions that help us understand who is participating. By registering, we know that you are a real person with genuine responses and opinions. This promotes accountability and helps us flag if someone is leaving multiple comments to support their own position.
  3. Ever get tired of filling out your details every time you do a survey? When you register, your details will be stored. Next time you just log on and away you go, making it quicker and easier than ever to participate in online engagement activities
  4. By registering we can also keep you updated on important project news, upcoming opportunities and how you can find more information on a range of issues and topics.
  5. Most importantly we can let you know the outcomes of the project you have been interested in and how stakeholder comments have contributed to decision making and project outcomes.

If you would like to participate in an activity or give feedback on a project on Your Say Moreton Bay you may need to either log in as a member or join to become a member of the platform.

Becoming a member is instant, easy to do and completely free.

This will help Council to better understand the demographics of who is providing feedback and will ensure that the feedback which is being used to help inform decisions is genuine and reliable.

To join Your Say Moreton Bay, navigate to the top right-hand corner of this page and click on the Join" button.

Once you’ve click on the “Join” button, you will be directed to a registration form asking you some brief questions.

To log in to Your Say Moreton Bay, navigate to the top right-hand corner of this page and click on the ‘Loginbutton.

Once you’ve clicked on the “Login” button, you will be asked to provide your username or email plus your password.

Your username should be simple and memorable. We recommend avoiding the usage of any personally identifiable information when creating your username. This includes your first or last name or your birth date. Use a variation of your name that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to recognise as associated with you.

Your username is the only piece of personal information that will be publicly visible for collaborative activities. For example, if you post an idea on a vision board or drop a pin on an interactive map, your username will show at the top of your post.

We understand that in addition to residents, other groups including people who workers, visitors, investors and service providers are interested in having their say.

In the registration form, let us know how you describe your relationship with the Moreton Bay region.

To update your password, simply login to Your Say Moreton Bay.

Navigate to “My Profile” and click on “Edit Profile”.

Once you are on your profile, scroll to the bottom of the page and follow the ‘Change password’ instructions.

We highly recommend you use a range of numbers and letters and not to use a name or date of birth.

The next time you login, you will need to use your new password.

If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Login’.

When you try and login there will be an option to click ‘Forgot your password'?

Click ‘Forgot your password?’ and follow the prompts to provide your email.

Make sure you check your junk inbox and wait up to 1-hour before trying again.

Once you receive the email to reset your password, follow the instructions.

Here are a couple of reasons you might not receive a password reset email:

  1. If you enter an email address into the 'Forgot your password' box that is not associated with the site e.g. if it isn't the email you used when you originally registered.
  2. If you haven't first registered to Your Say Moreton Bay. Navigate to the top right-hand corner of this page and click on the Join" button.

To update your profile details, simply login to Your Say Moreton Bay

Navigate to “My Profile” and click on “Edit Profile”.

Once you are on your profile page, simply click ‘edit’ and scroll through the page to edit your details.

Make sure that you double check the details and then save.

The supply of personal information by you is voluntary. The registration form will ask you to include personal details.

The only required details for membership are:

  • Username
  • Email
  • Password
  • Suburb you reside in
  • Years lived in current location
  • Gender
  • Year of birth
  • Agreement to the privacy policy

However, providing additional demographic information helps to ensure that Council is hearing from a diverse cross-section of the community.

Council will not use your personal information for any other purpose unless stated at the time of collection, or unless required, authorised or permitted by law.

Whilst we highly recommend you provide feedback and participate in the activities on the platform, you can also provide feedback via email and post if you prefer.

Ensure you clearly state the project and what comments/question you have in the correspondence.
