Creating vibrant and healthy communities is a priority for Council.

We are planning to upgrade the skate park at Bribie Island Community Park on Sunderland Drive, in Bellara and your ideas are helping to make it legendary.

Between 30 September and 28 October 2024, we invited community feedback on the skate park redesign and other ideas for the space. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback online or came along to a drop-in session at the park.

A summary of what we heard during the engagement will be published on this page in late 2024.

Council will consider your feedback alongside best practice design principles, site constraints, project budget, and market quotes to determine what can be designed and delivered in the future. A draft Concept Design will be developed and shared back to the community for feedback in early 2025.
