Bellara Skate Park upgrade
Creating vibrant and healthy communities is a priority for Council.
We are planning to upgrade the skate park at Bribie Island Community Park on Sunderland Drive, in Bellara and your ideas are helping to make it legendary.
Community consultation
Between 30 September and 28 October 2024, we invited community feedback on the skate park redesign and other ideas for the space. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback online or came along to a drop-in session at the park.
Overwhelmingly, upgrading the skate park is supported by the community.

Next Steps
Council will now consider your feedback alongside best practice design principles, site constraints, project budget, and market quotes to determine what can be designed and delivered in the future.
A draft Concept Design will be developed and shared with the community for feedback, before the project moves to detailed design and then construction.
