Council endorsed the Major Amendment No.3 - the ‘Better Housing Amendment’ and the accompanying Planning Scheme Policies Amendment No.2 for community consultation on 2 August 2023. The consultation period will open on Monday 7 August 2023 and close at midnight on Monday 4 September 2023.

Other ways to make a submission:

• by post to: City of Moreton Bay, PO Box 159, Caboolture QLD 4510
• in person at Council’s customer service centres at Strathpine, Caboolture or Redcliffe.

A properly made submission must:

• be in writing (including if by electronic means)
• include the full name and residential or business address of each person making the submission
• state a postal or electronic address for service of a response to the submission
• be signed by each person making the submission (unless made electronically)
• state the grounds of the submission and the supporting facts and circumstances
• be made to City of Moreton Bay
• be received by Council before midnight on Monday 4 September 2023.
