City of Moreton Bay is in the very early stages of creating a long-term plan to guide future growth in the Elimbah SEQ Development Area and deliver a well-planned community for residents. At this stage, we want to gather feedback on what you value and how you’d like to see this area grow over the coming decades.

This planning will include:

• new urban neighbourhoods
• employment and enterprise areas including a range of commercial, retail and industrial activities
• community services
• parks and recreational facilities
• improved roads and infrastructure
• environmental areas and corridors to support local wildlife.

Your voice is an important part of the decision-making process and by working together, we can shape better outcomes for the Elimbah community and City of Moreton Bay.

Between 3 November and 28 November 2025, we invited the community to complete a survey to help us understand:

• what the Elimbah SEQ Development Area means to you
• your values and aspirations for Elimbah into the future
• how you want us to consult with you as we progress.

We received 168 survey responses and 20 emails with feedback during the consultation. You can read a summary of what we heard here.

Council is working closely with the State Government to determine the most appropriate planning pathway to set the Elimbah SEQ Development Area up for success going forward.
