Be a part of improving your local park
We want your feedback to help us understand community support for a proposed basketball half-court improvement to Henry Bishop Park.
Henry Bishop Park plays an important role in the local community by offering a green space to play and enjoy that is accessible to surrounding residents. We’ve recently identified an opportunity to add a basketball half-court or similar improvement to the park.
Have your say
For Henry Bishop Park to best serve the needs and interests of its community, it’s important the people who use it most are involved in shaping what improvements are made. We’re asking you what you think should happen in your local park. Would a basketball half-court be a well-used addition to the area? Is there an alternative park upgrade that would better serve the community?
We have engaged consultants Fourfold Studio to assist us with this work.
How do I get involved?
1. Share your views now via our short survey below by 4pm Friday 6 June 2025.
2. If you would like to speak to the project team in person, we will be holding a pop-up engagement session in the Henry Bishop Park from 8 – 11 am Saturday 24 May 2025. Please drop-in to have a chat with the team, ask any questions and share your insights.
I’ve filled out the survey, what happens next?
Feedback gathered during the engagement process will assist the project team to align planned improvements for Henry Bishop Park with the needs and aspirations of the community.
