Nairn Park naming now confirmed

Council is pleased to confirm the two adjoining parks at Nairn Road and Adelong Court, Morayfield will now be known as Nairn Park.

The local Councillor has recommended the name Nairn Park, reflecting both common community usage and the location’s identity.

Formalising the name aims to reduce confusion and accurately represent the area’s significance to local residents.

You can read more about the reasons for the proposed naming of ‘Nairn Park’ in the Council General Meeting - 24 September 2025.
