In the heart of the Samford Parklands, Council is delivering a new Village Green. The Village Green will include a large lawn for big gatherings, small event spaces, picnic shelters and seating, productive planting beds and trees, a play space for children and additional carparking with access road.

Council invited community feedback on the project vision and site values to help inform the design of the Village Green between 22 December 2020 and 12 February 2021. We would like to thank the community for their participation and feedback. You can read more about what we heard in the Stakeholder Engagement Summary.

The project team is currently working to finalise the design for the Village Green. It will be shared on this webpage when it is finalised.
