Moreton Bay Regional Council supports a healthy and active lifestyle for residents by investing in safe, efficient, reliable and integrated transport networks.
Station Road, Burpengary forms part of Council’s primary active transport network and provides an important active travel link between Burpengary Railway Station, Burpengary Plaza and the surrounding residential area and community uses.
The project includes widening to provide a 2.0-2.5m concrete pathway, new kerb ramps and other crossing improvements, street tree planting, and bicycle awareness zone markings in Joyce Street. The outcomes are expected to provide a more attractive pathway network and encourage more active trips in the area.
The current concept design is provided on this webpage. Feedback and comments can be provided by clicking the feedback button below.
