The Centenary Lakes Regional Playground and zero-depth splash pad is now in construction and planned to open in 2027.

This new playground will provide an inclusive, all-ages and abilities recreational space for everyone to enjoy. Some of the features of the new playground include:

  • play structures,
  • sensory trails,
  • splash pad with waterplay wheelchairs,
  • public amenities,
  • a Changing Places facility,
  • wheelchair lockers,
  • picnic areas,
  • BBQs,
  • shaded areas,
  • additional parking,
  • new Dog Off Leash area.

This project is funded through the SEQ City Deal – Liveability Fund (jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments) with a contribution from City of Moreton Bay.

The splash park is being delivered through the Australian Government's Investing in Our Communities program, with funding also from City of Moreton Bay.
